No woman had ever gotten under my skin as deep as she had. From the first moment I laid eyes on her, I knew I had to have her, and that feeling had only grown stronger. Ever since her last visit, I’d had a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach. Not hearing from Davis only made that unnerving feeling worse as the days went by without any communication. The warden had been easy to buy, as most men like him were, but the bastard didn’t come cheap. But I had no choice and the only bargaining chips I had were tucked away in the bank. I’d keep the man upstairs happy and rolling in the green, and he’d keep letting me have what I wanted. And what I wanted was another meeting with the lovely Haven.

Alone.

I’d already been brought out to our dirty little apartment to wait for her to arrive. From the clock on the wall, she was running late. Tardiness was unforgivable. She’s earned a few well-deserved swats to the ass for that. A chill swept down my spine at the thought of spanking her sweet little ass as she lay bent over my thighs. A knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts. The knob turned and my pulse began to race away. I could feel it pounding in my neck, the steady thudding sound in my ears as the door opened and she stepped in, sunlight glowing all around her like an angel. My angel.
